Before you take this medicine
You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to it, or if you have:

How should I take codeine?

Codeine can be addictive, even at normal doses. Never share this medicine with anyone else, especially someone with a history of drug abuse or addiction. Overdose may cause severe muscle weakness, cold and clammy skin, pinpoint pupils, very slow breathing, extreme drowsiness or coma.
